COPPER: Gibraltar Mine's copper production set to rise in 2021
Taseko Mines Ltd reports that its Gibraltar mine in east-central British Columbia, Canada, produced 123 million pounds of copper and 2.3m lbs of molybdenum in 2020, Kallanish reports.
Gilbratar, which is 75% owned by Taseko, has 607m t of proven and probable resources with an average grade of 0.26% copper and 0.008% molybdenum. It’s estimated to hold 3 billion lbs of recoverable copper and 53m lbs of molybdenum, with a 21-year lifetime.
