Jean-Luc Fiorenzoni is a founding partner of Commos Consulting Ltd a boutique coaching and consulting firm exclusively dedicated to provide innovative training solutions and advisory in the field of commodity price risk management. Through their proprietary online trading simulator HedgeTutor, Commos Consulting propose a unique and extremely practice-driven training approach. Fiorenzoni has over 20 years of experience in industrial commodities and raw materials price risk management having held various operational and management roles for leading trading, mining and industrial companies in the field of base and ferrous metals. Jean-Luc was, until recently, Managing Director of Stemcor Risk Management AG where among others he pioneered and developed the use of steel and iron ore derivatives. Stemcor is the world's largest independent steel and steel raw materials trading company. He holds a Master's Degree in Business and Finance from CERAM Graduate School of Business in Sophia Antipolis as well as a Post Graduate Degree in International Trade and Logistics from the Centre d'Etudes du Commerce Exterieur in Marseille.He is fluent in French, English and Swedish.

Jim Lennon is now a part-time consultant to Macquarie. Until June 2013, he was Chairman of Commodities at Macquarie, having worked for there for 19 years. He headed up a 10 person research team in London, Singapore and Shanghai which services the equity, LME trading and corporate advisory divisions of the bank with steel, coal, metals and minerals research and market intelligence. In July 2013, Jim founded his own consulting company: Red Door Research Ltd. Jim and his team at Macquarie have regularly been ranked number one in various surveys of commodities research among equity investors for over a decade. Jim has 33 years of experience in researching the international metals and mining industries.

Roger Emmott is a highly regarded management consultant, business developer, innovator and advisor to the global metals and mining sector. For over more than 20 years he has advised more than 50 clients in over 50 countries. Roger has held senior positions with Steel Business Briefing, Atkins Plc in the UK and Hatch Associates of Canada. In these roles he gained in-depth experience of strategic, due diligence, market and feasibility studies including interview and research techniques, information synthesis, validation and presentation.

Philip has spent most of his career with the CRU group, from which he has recently retired and is now an independent consultant. In recent years he was a Senior Managing Consultant for CRU Strategies, the consulting division of the group. He has been involved up to the highest level in strategic advice to clients, as well as projects involving due diligence for financial transactions and feasibility studies, improved product/market strategies, competitive analysis, product value in use, and infrastructure assessment for mining and metals projects. His product specialities have been steel, ferrous raw materials (iron ore, coking coal and coke, DRI/HBI, and scrap), and ferro-alloys. Prior to CRU Strategies he created the Steel Business Unit in CRU, which became the largest and most profitable part of the company's activities. He has spent his entire career working on commodity market issues. Prior to working for CRU, Philip worked for Inco (International Nickel), where he was responsible for market research in Europe, with a particular focus on stainless steel. He also has extensive experience of the base metals industry both at CRU and at the International Wrought Copper Council. He has an M.A in Natural Sciences and Economics from the University of Cambridge.

Marcel is the founder and Managing Director of Laplace Conseil, an independent management consultancy firm he created in 1995, specialised in international strategy consulting for the metals, minerals and recycling industries. He has conducted numerous missions for the iron and steel industries as well as non-ferrous, scrap, and mineral companies, in Europe and abroad, in the areas of globalisation, merger and acquisition, restructuring, risk management and performance improvement. In most of his work, Marcel helps CEO’s and top executives anticipate, react to, and deal with the evolutions of the global scene such as technology innovation, China emergence, international competitiveness, prices and profits volatility. Today, Marcel is particularly helping his clients to assess the impact and opportunities for the steel and metal industries created by Climate Change and its necessary adaptations. Prior to Laplace Conseil, Marcel was a consultant for 15 years with McKinsey & Company where he became the senior partner in charge of the Firm’s worldwide steel practice. Marcel holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MSc in electrical engineering from the University of Liège.
